A stroll from the Place de la Concorde to the Place Charles de Gaulle is an ideal way to see the area, with the end of the walk leading to 12 other major avenues.

The first notable sight for visitors is the Arc de Triomphe which towers above the Champs-Elysées area.

Lined with beautiful buildings and splendid shops, the Champs-Elysées avenue is a strong symbol of power and wealth, with the Elysée Palace (home of the French President) nearby. This area is also the district of luxury hotels, starred restaurants and haute-couture fashion designers.
