OUR REVIEW OF THE PARIS MUSEUM PASS

If you like culture and want to visit more than 4 monuments or museums while spending several days in Paris, buying the Pass is a great idea. In particular, you can avoid long queues at the entrance to major museums, including the Louvre and Orsay Museums and the Pompidou Centre (where you can sometimes queue for over 2 hours).

To help you choose, here are the individual prices for admission to the Museums and Monuments:

  • The Louvre: €15
  • The Orsay: €12
  • The Rodin Museum: €10
  • The Arc de Triomphe: €12
  • The Château de Versailles: €18
  • The North Tower of Notre Dame: €10
  • City of Sciences: €12
  • Sainte Chapelle: €10
  • The Quai Branly Museum: €10

When you visit 4 or more attractions, you’re already saving money when you buy the 2-day Paris Museum Pass compared to purchasing individual tickets.

In addition, you save time by avoiding long queues. This means your visits will be far more enjoyable.

You can buy your Pass at any of the participating museums. However, to avoid queuing when you visit your first attraction, we advise that you buy it online.

The pass is activated when you register the date to start using it. You can then use it for 2, 4 or 6 days, depending on the type of pass you’ve chosen.

Whether you’re visiting Paris for 2, 3 or even 4 days, you’ll find the best pass to suit you.

Our tip: activate your pass and carry out your first visit in the morning to make the most of your Paris Museum Pass.

OUR REVIEW OF THE PARIS PASS

You’re bound to have noticed that a Paris Pass is more expensive than a Paris Museum Pass.

It combines all the benefits of the Paris Museum Pass and the Visit Paris and RAPT Paris Centre Card.

A 2-day Paris Museum Pass costs €48 and the Paris Card and Tour Paris Centre (Carte Paris Visite Paris Centre) is €19.50, or €67.50, compared to €131 for the Paris Pass. This makes it easy to calculate the benefits ;-).

You should also know that the Paris Pass includes a 120-page tourist guide, a 1-day ticket for a tourist bus trip, a cruise on the Seine (worth €5), a tour of the Montparnasse Tower with panoramic views (worth €18), access to the Grevin Museum (worth €22) and a wine tasting session.

Most of all, you’ll enjoy all these activities with priority access.

It all depends on the activities that may be of interest to you when you’re visiting Paris.

So, you have the Paris Museum Pass, the Paris City Pass and the Paris Pass – now it’s up to you to decide which one to choose!
